This is a picture of my brother, Jonathan, with a Halloween mask on. The picture was taken indoors, at night, with only a light source coming from an external flash placed below the subject. Also, the flash had a blue gel placed on it to produce the blue essence of the picture. The purpose of the blue was to give a picture a scary and dark feel. Along with the pose of my brother, the emphasis created by placing him the middle of the picture adds to the spooky feeling. The photo is well balanced due to the symmetry as well.
