This photo was created using a special material known as "sun film." Objects such as keys, a lanyard, and a paper clip were laid out on the film and left under the sun for a number of minutes. After the time it was exposed to the sun, the film was developed by being submerged in water. This is the resulting image. The natural blue color which comes from the film gives this abstract image a cool/calm feel. One may also identify a human-like figure within the circle created by the lanyard and keys. A scanner was used to transfer the sun film image onto the computer's hard drive.
