Scanner Art

This image was made by using images created through scanning objects on a scanner. The type of art created through this method is called 'Scanner art.' I scanned images using a college lanyard, my hand, a five dollar bill, my student ID, and a gift card. Also, I used an image from the internet as a background. This dream-like image has several aspects to it. The repitition of stars creates a unity that adds to the "out-of-this-world" feel and the line created by the lanyard attracts eyes towards the subject: Abraham Lincoln/Michael Jordan.
